[edit] Public Places
Vancouver BC police have been notified that it is not illegal for women to be topless in places where men can be. While the law about woman toplessness isn't clear, a judge in 2000 said it was legal for a woman, Ms. Linda Meyer, to be topless in at a public pool in Maple Ridge BC. It is now public policy in Vancouver that women can be topless in places where men can be including pools and while perhaps not all municipalities might recognize it there is a strong legal case to be made for woman toplessness being legal throughout British Columbia.
