Rustic and primitive natural hot springs abound in the Pacific Northwest . . . clothing free is the expected norm at all of these hot springs as most of them are of federal lands with no explicit prohibition against simple nudity. Olympic Park Rangers acknowledge the clothing-optional character of their springs by posting signs alerting visitors to the clothing-optional expectations ahead. Scenic Hot Springs is on private property and is in the process of obtaining the permitting to reopen to the public with a caretaker much like Goldmyer. Permission from the owner is needed to visit. You can find the forms you must fill out here.
Wind River Hot Springs (on DNR lands) is presently inaccessible because of legal issues with adjacent land owners. It is hoped the new owner will be amenable to restoring access to these natural hot spring pools on the Wind River.
